Speak Up is a private English language school founded in 2013 and based in Haifa, Israel. Speak Up serves 450+ students each week with a staff of 25+ native English-speaking teachers.
We teach private and small group lessons in person (in the Haifa area) and online lessons (all throughout Israel). We work with children ages 4-16 as well as with adults and businesspeople.
All of our instructors are native English speakers with a professional teaching background.
Our teachers are equipped with the best teaching methods and ESL learning materials.
Each lesson is customized to the unique interests and goals of each individual student.
The lessons help the learner gain experience and confidence in spoken English. In Speak Up lessons, the student is actively speaking for 80% of the lesson time.
Speak Up teachers have access to our library of over 2000+ language-learning activities and 3000 books and games. We bring a variety of new speaking activities to each lesson encouraging the student to speak the language and practice grammar through authentic spoken conversation.

Our teachers are able to explain and assist as needed in Hebrew during lessons, but otherwise meetings are conducted all in English.

All lessons are live meetings led by one of our teachers. Small group meetings consist of groups of up to 6 students.
All online lessons are live, unrecorded meetings with a private teacher, using the latest technology combined with trusted techniques in language education.
